The premise of Lightning Baccarat is the same as regular baccarat. Your objective is to predict whether the player or banker position will win the game round by holding a hand value closest to nine points.

• Aces are the lowest, worth one point each.  
• Number cards are worth their face values.  
• 10s and picture cards (Jack, Queen, King) are each worth zero points.  

Card suits are not relevant in baccarat. 

Before each deal, you must place your bet on whether you think the player or the banker will win the game round. You also have an option to bet on a tie if you think they will have equal-value hands. This is a far riskier bet but offers a higher value payout if you win.  

Select your bet size using the casino chips presented during the allocated betting time and place them on the position/s you wish to bet on, then wait for the game to begin. 

The dealer starts by dealing out two initial cards to each position. If the player and banker hold hands of equal value, the round ends at that stage in a tie, and the bets on the player and banker positions push.  

Hand values are calculated by dropping the tens digit in a hand if the total points go over ten. For example, a hand holding a 7 and a 9 is worth six points because you add the total together (16) and remove the ten. 

The main baccarat game has three possible outcomes: the player wins, the banker wins, or there is a tie. In addition, there are two side bets, separate from the main bet, that concern only the initial cards dealt to one of the two positions.

Lightning Round 

A fee of 20% the base bet value is applied to each game for the Lightning Round. For example, if your bet is £5.00, the 20% fee applied is £1.00, making your total bet £6.00, which will be visible on screen.  

After your bets have been accepted, the game’s Lightning Round will occur. During the round, between one and five random Lightning Cards are drawn from a virtual 52-card deck. These cards are then randomly assigned Lightning Multipliers of x2, x3, x4, x5, or x8.  

If your bet wins and contains cards among the selected Lightning Cards, your payout will be multiplied by the relevant Lightning Multiplier. If more than two Lightning Cards are dealt to your winning position, the multipliers are first multiplied and then applied to your payout.  

Side Bets 

In addition to the main bet, you can also choose to play one of two optional side bets based on the initial deals of the two positions: 

• P Pair: This side bet will pay out if the first two cards dealt to the player position make up a pair. If 312 cards are dealt, the side bet cannot be higher than 20% of the combined main bet.  
• B Pair: Pays if the first two cards dealt to the banker position make up a pair. Again, the side bet cannot be higher than 20% of the combined main bet if 312 cards are dealt.
