Nottingham Forest Betting | Nottingham Forest Odds 2024/25

Nottingham Forest violated the EPL Profit and Sustainability Rules last season and nearly dropped into the Championship as a result of their points deduction. However, after changing the manager and bringing in many players, Forest secured Premier League football for the 2024/25 campaign.

Hopefully, their financial worries are behind them, and Forest can focus on building a team under Nuno Espirito Santo that will challenge for a top-half finish. Join us as we look at the best Nottingham Forest odds and betting options for this EPL season at Betano.

Nottingham Forest EPL Odds

We expect the 2024/25 campaign to be a struggle for Nottingham Forest, and they will likely find themselves in a relegation battle again at the business end of the campaign. If you agree, you can back them at 11/4* to finish in the bottom three of the English Premier League this season.

If you have a more positive outlook on Nottingham Forest’s 2024/25 campaign, you can bet on them to stay up at a price of 1/4*. If you think Nuno and his team will surprise a few people this year, you can back them to secure a top-half finish at 5/1*.

Nottingham Forest 2023/24 Performance Review

Despite flirting with relegation all season and receiving a four-point deduction, Nottingham Forest secured their EPL survival with a 17th-placed finish in the 2023/24 season. The Reds were fired on by the goals of Chris Wood, who bagged 14 Premier League goals to secure Forest’s status as a top-flight club.

Popular manager Steve Cooper left the club during the campaign to be replaced by Nuno Espirito Santo. The Portuguese coach steered Forest to survival after a shaky start in the dugout.

Even with their points deduction, Forest finished six points clear of Luton Town in 18th and, ultimately, their results against those around them secured their EPL status, including a 3-1 win against Sheffield United and 2-1 away to Burnley in May.

The highlight of Forest’s season was a superb 1-0 win at Stamford Bridge in September. Still, they also secured impressive wins against Aston Villa, Newcastle United, and Manchester United, showing that on their day, they’re capable of beating the biggest teams in the league.

Since Forest have been extremely busy in the summer transfer market again this year and Nuno is beginning his first full season in charge at the City Ground, most Forest fans would be happy if the Reds preserve their EPL status again this time around.

Nottingham Forest Transfer News

Typical of Nottingham Forest’s transfer activity since their return to the top flight, the Reds have been busy in the summer window, adding experience and quality to a few key areas while moving numerous players on. Below is an overview of the main incomings and outgoings at the City Ground so far this summer:

Main incomings

  • Elliot Anderson (Newcastle United)
  • Nikola Milenkovic (Fiorentina)
  • Jota Silva (Vit. Guimaraes)
  • Marko Stamenic (Red Star)
  • Carlos Miguel (Corinthians)
  • Eric da Silva Moreira (St Pauli)

Main outgoings

  • Moussa Niakhate (OL)
  • Odysseas Vlachodimos (Newcastle United)
  • Orel Mangala (OL)
  • Remo Freuler (Bologna)
  • Scott McKenna (UD Las Palmas)
  • Brandon Aguilera (Rio Ave)
  • Lewis O’Brien (LAFC, loan)
  • Felipe (Retired)
  • Loic Mbe Soh (Released)
  • Cheikhou Kouyate (Released)
  • Harry Arter (Released)
  • Wayne Hennessey (Released)

The arrival of talented youngster Elliot Anderson from Newcastle United was the biggest talking point of the early summer months at the City Ground, with goalkeeper Odysseas Vlachodimos moving in the opposite direction in a deal that looked forced due to both club’s FFP restraints. Still, Forest have a brilliant young player in Anderson, and the box-to-box midfielder will add bite and drive to their midfield.

Nikola Milkenkovic’s arrival from Fiorentina has also excited Forest fans. The experienced Serbian international will fill the void left by Moussa Niakhate, who moved to OL earlier in the summer. Orel Mangala joined Niakhate at OL, helping Forest raise around £50 million in fees that will alleviate some of their financial concerns going into this campaign.

The club also released a few big earners this summer, including Scott McKenna, Cheikhou Kouyate, Felipe, and Harry Arter, who were all permitted to leave the club without a fee.

While Nottingham Forest seem to take a scattergun approach to recruitment, their summer has undoubtedly been productive, and their fans will be excited by the addition of real quality at the City Ground ahead of this campaign.
