Monopoly Live is divided into two games. The base game focuses on the money wheel, and the bonus game is based on the Monopoly board game.

The base game is a large wheel divided into 54 segments. Each segment corresponds to one of the following options: 1, 2, 5, 10, CHANCE, 2 ROLLS, or 4 ROLLS.  

The idea is to bet on which option you think the wheel pointer will stop on. You can find the paytable for the wheel segments in the section below. 

When the betting window opens, you can bet on the different options by placing your chips on them in the display below the wheel. You’ll see the following options in Monopoly money:  1, 2, 5, 10, 2 ROLLS, and 4 ROLLS. You can bet on as many of these options as you want. 

The Monopoly bonus game will begin if the wheel stops on 2 ROLLS or 4 ROLLS. If you don’t bet on these options, you won’t be able to participate in the game. We explain how the bonus game works in one of the following sections.  

You can’t bet on ‘CHANCE.’ However, if the wheel stops on this option, you will be awarded a card with either a cash prize or a multiplier. All your bets remain in place if you’re granted a multiplier. The host spins the wheel again, and the multiplier awarded will multiply all the winnings.

The payouts in the wheel game are based on the segments. Each number in the game has a specific payout rate based on the likelihood of landing on that segment.  

The payouts are different because some numbers have more segments than others. For example, there are 15 segments for number two but only seven for number five. Therefore, the odds of the wheel stopping on two are much higher than on number five.

Bonus Game 

You can participate in the bonus game if you bet on ‘2 ROLLS’ and ‘4 ROLLS’, and the wheel stops on one of these segments. If you don’t place a bet on these segments, you won’t be able to participate in the bonus game.  

When the bonus round begins, a virtual 3D Monopoly board appears. The board is surrounded by skyscrapers, which look much like those in Manhattan. Mr. Monopoly gets up from his chair and guides you around the board. 

The game is played with two dice. If the wheel stops on ‘2 ROLLS,’ the dice will be rolled twice. If the wheel landed on ‘4 ROLLS,’ the dice will be rolled four times. 

You’ll find that the Monopoly board has the same layout as the regular game. So, the board includes properties, utilities, jail, taxes, Chance, Community Chest, Go, railways, and free parking. If houses and hotels are built on some properties, the prizes will increase. 

Mr. Monopoly will walk the number of places shown on the dice. So, if the dice show six, Mr Monopoly will walk six places. If you land on ‘Go to Jail,’ you must roll a double to get out. 

You get an extra free roll if you roll a double and are not in jail. If you land on Chance or Community Chest, you can receive a random cash prize or a fee. Passing Go will double all the prizes on the board.  

However, income tax can reduce your bonus winnings by 10% and Super income tax by 20%. The game is over when no more rolls are left. You’ll be returned to the main game, and bonus winnings will be paid in addition to your initial bet.
