Double Ball Roulette is a unique variation of this much-loved table game, featuring two roulette balls instead of one. Both balls spin on the wheel simultaneously.

The roulette wheel is divided into 37 pockets. The pockets are numbered from 0 - 36, where the zero pocket has a green background and the other pockets have red or black backgrounds.

The aim of the game is to wager on which pocket the ball will land when the wheel comes to rest.

Evolution has created a patented machine that launches both balls onto the wheel in the same direction and at the same speed. One ball slightly trails the other, reducing the risk of them colliding.

The Double Ball Roulette two-ball feature alters the payouts and gameplay. When you place an inside bet in this game, you’ll win if one of the balls falls into the pocket you wagered on. If both balls land on your inside bet numbers, you’re win will be doubled.

If you place an outside bet, both balls must land on the numbers included in your bet. We’ll go through the different types of bets and their payouts in the section below.

Double Ball Roulette Payouts

The payouts you receive in Double Ball Roulette depend on the bets you place. Below are your Double Ball Roulette betting options and their respective payouts:

Inside Bets

The roulette table has an inner number grid and outer boxes. Bets placed on the inner number grid are known as inside bets.

The inner grid is made up of three horizontal columns of 12 numbers, and the background colour of each number matches the colours of the roulette wheel. The zero has its own section at the far left of the grid, marked with a green background.

There are five inside bets:

  • Straight-up: Bet on a single number for the highest payout.
  • Split: Bet on two adjacent numbers by placing a chip between them.
  • Street: Covers three numbers in a single horizontal row on the layout.
  • Corner: Wagers on four numbers meeting at one corner on the grid.
  • Line: Bets on six numbers across two adjacent rows simultaneously.

Outside Bets

You can place outside bets in the boxes that are on the outside of the number grid. These bets cover a range of numbers, so when you make an outside bet, both balls must be covered by your bet for you to win. Your outside betting options are:

  • Red/Black: Bet on whether the winning number will be red or black.
  • Odd/Even: Predict if the winning number will be odd or even.
  • High/Low: Wager on low (1–18) or high (19–36) numbers.
  • Dozen: Bet on one of three groups of twelve numbers (1–12, 13–24, 25–36).
  • Column: Covers twelve numbers in one vertical column on the betting layout.

Alongside standard roulette outside bets, you can place special bets in this game:

  • Red & Black: Place your chip on the box that is half red and half black. You’ll win if one ball lands in a red pocket and one in a black pocket.
  • Two Balls on Any Number: Place your chips on the 35:1 section to make this wager. You’ll win if both balls land in the same non-predicted pocket.
  • Two Balls on a Selected Number: Bet on the oval-shaped betting area. To win, both balls must land in the predicted pocket.
