The game is set beneath the ocean waves on a six-reel grid. To the left of the main reel set is a seventh, locked reel. This is the multiplier reel, which can be unlocked with special bonus symbols.
Poseidon stands on the sea bed beside the reels, trident in hand. Your game controls are directly below. The plus and minus buttons control your bet size, and the spin button starts your game. Click the info icon to reveal the paytable and full game rules.
Waves of Poseidon Symbols & Payouts
Waves of Poseidon uses a scatter pays mechanic, so you don’t need to worry about hitting payline wins to score payouts. Instead, you need to land at least eight matching pay symbols anywhere in view on a single spin to trigger a reward.
Regular pay symbols include 10-ace playing card royals, a broken urn of coins, a marble column, a dolphin, and Poseidon’s face. The wild is a golden gate, the scatter is Poseidon’s underwater palace, and the bonus is his trident.

Wild Symbols
The wild symbol can appear on any reel in the base game or free spins. They substitute for all symbols except scatters and bonus symbols to help create winning combos and trigger rewards.
Tumble Feature
The tumble feature is active on every base game spin. Whenever you hit a winning spin, all winning symbols explode from the reels once your payout has been awarded, and all remaining symbols fall to the bottom of the grid. A tumble of new symbols falls into place from above, and with them, the possibility of scoring another win.
If another winning combo lands, these symbols also explode from the reels, and the sequence repeats until no further wins are created.
Multiplier Reel
The multiplier reel along the side of the main reel set is initially locked. Behind the grate, you can see multiplier values that increase in value the further up the reel you go, in the following order: 1x, 2x, 2x, 2x, 3x, 3x, 5x, 5x, 7x, 7x, 10x, 10x, 20x.
A bubble rises up the reel on each tumble, highlighting different multiplier values as it moves. If the bubble reaches the top of the reel, it remains there until the end of the spin.
Bonus Symbol
The bonus symbol can land randomly on any position on the reels in the base game or free spins bonus. Bonus symbols carry multiplier values between 2x and 50x.
When a bonus symbol lands, the multiplier reel is unlocked, and the base multiplier values are multiplied by the value of the bonus symbol.
At the end of all tumbles, the total win is multiplied by the active multiplier. The multiplier reel is then reset, and the bubble returns to the bottom.
Free Spins Bonus
Hit four or more scatter symbols on a single base game spin to trigger the free spins bonus, unlocking free spins as follows:
- 4 scatters = 10 free spins
- 5 scatters = 15 free spins
- 6 scatters = 20 free spins
One additional free spin is awarded for every scatter symbol landed as the bonus plays out.
During the feature, the multiplier reel is always unlocked, and bonus symbols that hit during the round are guaranteed to carry a multiplier with values between 2x and x50.
If you trigger the bonus with six scatter symbols from the base game, your bonus is upgraded to the Super Free Spins feature, where multiplier numbers on the multiplier reel don’t reset between spins.
Ante Bet
You can activate the Ante Bet feature for a price of 2x the bet. When active, the multiplier reel is always unlocked, and each winning payout is multiplied by the value highlighted in the bubble. Regular payouts are still awarded at the base bet value when the ante bet is active.
