Wild Symbols
Both the cop and the robber are wild symbols that appear in different formats on the reels. They can substitute for regular pay symbols to help you complete paylines and score payouts.
The robber appears in the base game as regular Santa, as Santa in gold, or in jail. The cop appears holding a candy cane or frozen in a block of ice, and only in the Big Money bonus.
Bonus Symbol
The bonus symbol is the game’s scatter. It can appear on all reels in the base game and will trigger the bonus when three or more land in any position on a single spin:
- 3x scatter = Big Money Bonus with 1x starting multiplier
- 4x scatter = Super Big Money Bonus with 2x starting multiplier
- 5x scatter = Mega Big Money Bonus with 3x starting multiplier
Bonus Upgrades
Before entering the bonus, you must choose from eight mystery gifts, each containing one of six bonus upgrades. Pick gifts to collect upgrades until “START BONUS” is revealed and you are transported to the bonus arena.
- Cop Freeze: The cop will not move along the trail for the first two spins that cop symbols land on the reels.
- Golden Robbers: Special robber symbols are added to the reels that, when landed, will step down one position on subsequent spins until falling off the bottom of the reels.
- Extra Cash: Adds extra cash symbols to the reels.
- Extra Robbers: Adds extra robber symbols to the reels.
- Increased Cash: The green, red, and gold-coloured cash symbols (gifts) have their values increased to 50x, 100x, and 200x the bet, respectively.
- Multipliers Upgrade: All multipliers along the trail are increased, up to a max of 20x.
Big Money Bonus
The bonus is played on a modified reel set with a progression trail running along the top of the reels. The standard multiplier values on the trail are 2x, 3x, 4x, 6x, 8x, and 10x. When you hit a multiplier on the trail, all subsequent cash symbols are multiplied by this value.
Each robber symbol that lands on the main reels will advance the robber one position on the trail. Robbers also collect symbols that will collect the values of any cash symbols that land on the reels with them.
Cop symbols landing on the main reels will advance the cop one position along the trail. Cops and robbers also act as wilds on the main reels to help you complete payline wins. The bonus game continues until the cop in the progress trail catches up with the robber, triggering the ID parade.
ID Parade
At the ID parade, three characters appear in the line-up and one is randomly selected. The selected character will trigger the following outcomes:
- Bert: Ends the bonus round, awarding all accumulated wins.
- Sid: The cop is pushed back two positions on the trail, and the bonus continues.
- Vic: The robber runs ahead to the next multiplier on the trail, and the bonus continues.
Santa’s Sleigh Reel Modifiers
In keeping with the festive spirit, random reel modifiers can occur to assist you on your quest. The robber might catch a ride on a sleigh to escape the ID parade. Or, extra cash symbols or robbers may appear to trigger a cash collect.
Fortune Spins
In this alternative base game, regular symbols are removed from the reels, the robber is unlocked, and the cash collect can occur on base game spins when cash symbols land with robbers on the reels.
Fortune Bet
When the Fortune Bet is enabled, if two bonus symbols land, they will lock in place, and a respin will occur for a second chance to trigger the bonus.
