Age of the Dogs Symbols & Payouts
Rather than paylines, Age of the Dogs uses a cluster pays mechanic. You need clusters of five or more identical symbols to score payouts as indicated in the paytable. Pay symbols include different coloured gemstones and various thematic premium payers. The wild symbol is a paw print, and the scatter is a bone.

Wild Symbols
Wild symbols can appear on all reels and substitute for regular pay symbols to help you complete paylines and score wins.
Cascading Reels
Cascading Reels is active on all spins. Winning symbols are removed from the reels to make way for new symbols to fall from above, and with them, the chance to score more wins from the same wagered spin.
Dog God Symbols
When any of the dog gods appear on the reels, they will perform various actions:
Ares: When Ares lands, the grid will grow by one row and one reel. Once the grid has grown, Ares will transform into a wild symbol, and wins are determined. If a win occurs and Ares lands in the next cascade, the action repeats. The maximum size the grid can reach is 10x10. At this point, Ares can still land and turn into a wild, but will no longer grow the reels.
Hermes: When Hermes hits, he will travel through the grid, from top to bottom, dropping wild symbols in random positions. Once he has dropped all his wilds, he returns to his original position and explodes along with any winning symbols.
Artemis: Each time Artemis appears, up to three different symbol types are transformed into the same symbol type to help you create higher-value winning clusters. Artemis explodes along with winning symbols in the cascade.
Poseidon: Poseidon creates a respin with all winning clusters locked in place on the reels. All non-winning positions spin for a chance to create larger winning clusters. If new winning clusters are created, they will lock in place, and another respin is awarded. Poseidon explodes with winning symbols.
Free Spins Bonus
You need three scatter symbols to appear anywhere on the grid in the base game to trigger the free spins bonus round. When activated, you are given five different game options to select from, awarding a different combination of spins and dogs per spin:
- 1x spin with 4 dogs
- 3x spin with 3 dogs
- 5x spin with 2 dogs
- 10x spin with 1 dog
Mystery option with a random number of spins and dogs
Hitting three scatters during the bonus will retrigger it. The round continues until no further spins remain.
Barking Bets
Click on the Barking Bets button to choose from three different ante bet options:
- Dog: Increase the likelihood of landing dogs for 1.20x the bet.
- Bone: Increase the likelihood of activating the bonus game for 1.20x the bet.
- Both: increase the likelihood of landing dogs and reaching the bonus for 3.00x the bet.
