When you’re ready to play, click the game tile to launch your session and join the live stream. Take your seat at the green felted poker table opposite your professional live dealer. If a game is in session, you’ll have to wait until betting opens to start your game. Use this opportunity to familiarise yourself with the gaming environment and controls. When betting opens, a selection of virtual casino chips appears on screen. Choose your desired bet size and click to cover the ante bet spot in front of you. The system automatically adds the blind bet of equal value. 

As per standard game rules, Ultimate Texas Hold’em is played with one 52-card deck, jokers removed. The deck is shuffled between each round. The round starts with two cards each. Both of the dealer’s cards remain face down. 

A short pause, and then the dealer follows with the Flop: the first three community cards to be laid on the table. After another short pause, the dealer continues with the remaining two, known as the Turn and the River. During each pause, you have a choice to play (raise your bet) or check (remain as is). You can only raise your bet once per game round, with better payouts offered the earlier you do so. 

The winning hand is determined by the highest-ranking five-card hand created using the two cards in your hand and three of the five on the table. The dealer needs a pair or better to qualify.

Blind 

Blind bets are paid out based on your winning hand rank: 

Trips 

The trips side bet payout is based on the rank of the best five-card hand you can make from the seven cards available to you (two in your hand and five on the table). Winning the bet pays regardless of the dealer’s hand or whether you place a play bet. Hand configurations for the trips bet are the same as above. 

Ultimate Texas Hold’em Bonus Features 

There is only one bonus feature in this classic poker game, an optional side bet known as a trips bet.  

Trips Bet 

The trips bet must be placed before the round begins, and after your ante bet has been accepted. To play the trips bet, add a chip to the assigned betting spot when betting is open. 

To win the trips side bet, you need to end the round with a five-card hand of three of a kind or better using the two cards in your hand and the community cards on the table. Payouts are based on your hand ranking. A winning trips bet is paid out regardless of the main hand outcome.
