When you arrive in the game studio, you might have to wait for the next round to begin, but that gives you a moment to familiarise yourself with the layout. 

You’ll see a traditional roulette wheel and betting table, where you can place all your usual roulette bets, including inside and outside bets. As the roulette wheel spins, the host pulls a lever to determine how many Monopoly bonus symbols will cover single numbers on the betting table. It can be anything from three to seven. 

These are then applied randomly to single numbers on the roulette table, and if you happen to have placed a bet on one of them and the roulette ball lands on it, then you win through to the Monopoly game. Meanwhile, as the wheel spins, up to five Community Chest cards are also randomly applied to the single table numbers, and winning one of these entitles you to a shot at a bonus multiplier of your wager, from 20x to 300x your bet.

As this is all based on roulette, let's explain your base game betting options. These are split between inside bets, involving the numbers in the middle of the table, and outside bets, which are groups of numbers depicted by sections around the edge of the table:

As in normal roulette, the safest bets offer the smallest payouts. But the star of the show in Monopoly Roulette is the board game bonus round, and you can only win through to this if you bet on a single number that wins with a Monopoly bonus symbol on it, 

And watch out for the roulette ball landing on green zero. If the roulette ball lands here, all other bets are lost (except for those lucky players who bet on the zero segment). 

The Bonus Chaser bet automatically covers all numbers that have a Monopoly Bonus symbol, while the Chest Chaser does the same with the Chest Chaser bets. Make sure you have enough funds to cover these multiple bets. 

All players with a winning bonus single number bet are now taken to the virtual Monopoly board, while everyone else watches the exciting action. 

The number of dice throws, determined by a random number applied at the start of the game, then begins, with Mr Monopoly starting on Go. He applies random houses to the properties on the board, with multipliers that increase your payout if you land on them. 

With each throw of the dice, Mr Monopoly travels around the board. A double also gives everyone an additional throw. If Mr Monopoly gets all the way around to Go, the existing property multipliers double when he continues. 

As in the original board game, if he lands on Go to Jail, he remains behind bars until you throw a double or you run out of turns. You can also pick up Community Chest and Chance cards. 

Once the Monopoly round ends, your multipliers total up and apply to your original bet size.
